I've written poems all my life and started painting at 36 to
make my poetry more engaging, for at the time, 8-1/2"x11"

just wasn't conveying enough of the joy and pain, sunshine and
rain behind the words. I often scribble words on my paintings
with neither rhyme nor reason...just let my mind unload. Paintings become puzzles.
