Originally, I was a Vice-President at an investment bank, but that was
not what I wanted to be when I grew up, so I taught myself to paint at
age 36. Painting freed me and gave me a visual vehicle for my poems. I
have always written poems ... and read dictionaries for pleasure. My art
is full of words, vintage texts, antique maps, found objects... Often
I chop these into repeated path patterns - where I’ve been and where
I’m headed. These paths are not straight. Whose ever are?
