we are swimming
in societal currents bubbling
with fervent absurdity

it gets darker
the deeper you go
under atmosFEARS

but we swim together
through this turbulence
safe in our numbers (or is it numbness)

some say fish cannot feel pain
no nerve endings or some such thing
yeah, right

probably the same guy that redefined reality
to mean idiots on TV
bottom feeding

swim on swim on
flip and glide and charge
quicksilver

as long as we swim together
we look larger to them
who think they know best
